The Credential Is the Entry Point, Not the Ceiling

The CMP was launched in 1985 and is now held by more than 13,000 professionals across 55 countries. It is the only globally recognized standard in a profession with no licensing requirement, no bar exam, and no accreditation body that can prevent an unqualified person from running a large gathering. Calvert's observation is that the credentialing portfolio must address the full arc of a career, not just the middle of it. The CMP-HC extends into healthcare meetings. The CMP Fellow recognizes sustained senior contribution. The SEPC addresses sustainability literacy. The work-readiness certificate she is building addresses entry before post-secondary commitment. Each tier is an answer to a different version of the same question: how do we make someone who is not yet inside this profession feel like they were always supposed to be here.
