Signal vs. scale

Adding guests adds people. It also subtracts attention. Beyond twelve, the room becomes an event: more energy, more momentum, less depth. Peterson refuses the trade. Scale produces buzz; signal produces memory. Twelve is where signal still holds, and that is the number she protects.
