When the NPS drops and the verbatim comments say the content missed, the most common organizer response is not to fix the content. It is to question the sample. Senior people did not respond. The wrong people did. The on-site feedback was great, so this cannot be the truth. Brewster has heard every version. The pattern is consistent: surveys are hard feedback, and humans are conditioned by failure aversion to discredit the mirror rather than the face. Surveys are the harshest feedback an organizer can get. They are also the nearest thing to the truth available, which is precisely why they get attacked.
