If you can't show it, you can't sell it.
observation — attributed to Iain Morrison
Clients do not buy concepts. They buy clarity. The producer who can render the proposed event so the client can see it, walk through it, and understand exactly what they are approving wins the work over the producer who can only describe it. The ability to show the event is becoming the new pitch deck. The verbal pitch is losing ground to the visual one.
For producers and agencies still selling concepts on slides.
